Super quiet unit. Function's so much better than my old unit which was almost 12 yrs old. Way overdue for the new one.

Came as expected and early

We moved in to a home with a wine room equipped with a Breezaire WKL 2200. The home is 25 years old. One day the WKL 2200 unit started making loud jet engine type noises, then the noises stopped, then started again. I called Breezaire and asked how old the unit was. Turns out it is 24 years old, the original. Although still running, I decided to replace the unit, just to be safe. The installation was easy. There is a drain tube on the bottom which will gravity-feed any excess condensation out of the unit. We live in SC, which is a humid environment. The old WKL 2200 I pulled out was not installed perfectly: the drain tube was not used (the unit does self-dehumidify, but I noticed the bottom of the unit was rusty, implying some water attack over the years. The wood in the cellar was not rotted, so apparently the old unit was self-dehumidifying to a degree). Also, the old unit had not been insulated around the edges perfectly, there were spaces. In spite of all this, the unit operated for 24 years and the temperature was perfect. So, naturally I ordered another WKL 2200. On the new install (and the new unit was exactly the same dimensions as the old unit (thankfully!)), I did install the drain line for overflow condensation, making sure the gravity feed as perfect. Also, we re-insulated the edges so no space between the walls and unit. Seems to be working fine and I expect another 24 years from this unit! I wanted to write this review to commend the people at Breezaire for the great product, never expected a unit like this would last 24+ years, good job.

works great, replaced a previous model that had lasted 20 years!

I first bought one of these units in 1987; I’m now on my fourth one. I have a wine cellar in a less than ideal location: a converted second floor closet with a west-facing wall in a part of the country where the summer temperatures frequently reach the 90’s. These units have reliably kept my wine at the proper temperature with virtually no maintenance issues. Each one has lasted 10+ years, which I understand is the norm. I appreciate the fact that during that time the unit’s specifications have not changed, thereby making replacement straightforward. I recommend this unit without reservation.

I did replace my old Breezaire wk2200 unit which did work for more than 20 years and was probably running out of Freon. So I happily replaced my old unit with the new WKL 2200 with the same measurements.

Not sure why the power cord comes out on that side. I had to re-route it through the back.

I wanted the power cord in the back and noted in my order; however the unit came with the cord in the front which rendered it useless. Now I have to return it and pay the extra fee to have the unit reworked on. Seems to me someone should have contacted me regarding the placement of the cord which I don’t mind paying instead of now have to shop it back halfway across the country.

Installed easily - cooling just fine.

Very easy replacement and it worked great. I would recommend adding hardware to replace then old rubber bushings on the mount.

The part was right and came fast.

Perfect fit replacement for 29 year old vinotemp wine cooler. The new one is quieter too!

It works well.

The product is not as advertised. The online description of the product reads "Ease of Installation, no on-site installation of refrigerant are required." The unit was delivered with no refrigerant resulting in a delay in the install and an added cost to the buyer.

Too expensive

Customer service extremely poor. Sales associate also us the wrong part and would not provide an exchange for the correct part. I would not recommend Breezesire USA

We have been very happy with our new Breezaire system. Easily installed, works great.

Works fine. Easy to install. Hope it lasts longer then the last one I replaced which only lasted a couple years.

Replaced a _20-year-old_ WK2200 (freon no longer available)...look forward to similar longevity for this unit.

We bought the WKL 1060 to cool our small wine cabinet. We also purchased the bottle temperature probe. We were on the fence about that but have found that the cabinet does seem more uniform. So far we are pleased with Breezaire and look forward to many years with it!

Great cooling unit! Compact and quiet running. Super easy installation. This new unit is to replace the original unit that was installed in 1999 (only because a small hole had rusted through the bottom), but the old unit still works perfectly. Absolutely built to last,…which is something you don’t see very often In today’s disposable world!
